The following is from the first chapter which is titled: "The Pain of a Child":
"Was he really a famous comedian, enjoying the limelight? Or was he still a frightened young boy, sitting in a dark room?"
I’m gonna have to go with comedian on this one.

Daniel Rockdale is a comedian living in New York City. He looks forward to the day when he is able to pour scalding lattes over the heads of those who are late bringing him cups of scalding lattes.
Animals love him and babies adore him. Animals and babies will laugh at anything.
